I thought this was super interesting. Just as the title implies this lists out the first 100 .com domain names ever registered. There are some that you would expect (Xerox.com) and many you’ve probably never heard of. My personal favorite is Datacube.com

Yeah – this is a very cool list. Datacube.com is my favourite too… mainly because I used to work for Datacube back in the 90s. Datacube Inc was a manufacturer of high-performance image processing hardware, based in Danvers, MA, USA. Unfortunately the performance of the PC kind of caught-up with them and they went under a few years back. :-(

Nick, that is a sad but informative story. I grew up in Beverly, right next to Danvers, small world! Well, back in the early days of the web is was even smaller (the Boston area in particular). Thanks for sharing!
